Science Program CLOSED Registration

Reservation Directions

Science Ranger-led programs are offered Monday-Friday. The maximum number of students per program is 35. Certain programs are dependent on tidal cycles.  If your group is larger than 35, you will need to reserve multiple time slots for the day.  If your group is larger than 70, you will need to reserve multiple days.

Step 1 - Choose the program that best fits with your grade-level and area of study.

Step 2 - Check the calendar for available dates and times.

>>Intertidal Explorations, Science Sampler, and Climate Kids Programs are available for reservation on the calendar as TIDEPOOLS.

>>All other Science Programs (i.e. Plant Adaptations, Biodiversity Snapshot, 3D Cabrillo) are denoted as SCI AVAILABLE

List your top three in order of preference on the registration form. Your time of arrival/departure might vary depending on your day, just list times for the first preferred day. We will confirm this information when your request it processed. Buses are required to stay for the entire duration of the trip if you are taking part in a tidepool program. Please be aware that tidepool access requires walking down steep sandstone cliffs.

Note: If you are participating in the Science Sampler Program, only reserve your tidepool day. You will be contacted separately to schedule your pre- and post- classroom visits.

Step 3 - Fill out the registration form located on this page.

Step 4 - Allow a minimum of two weeks for processing. You will receive a confirmation email and a fee waiver once your request has been processed.

Step 5- Review Group Expectations and FAQs prior to your trip.
