Groups are responsible for transportation arrangements. Buses are required to stay for the entire duration of the trip if you are taking part in a tidepool program. Cabrillo does not provide transportation to and from the tidepools. We do have a small allotment of bus funding for qualified parties available on a first come, first serve basis. This is denoted on your registration form. Please be aware that tidepool access requires walking down steep sandstone cliffs.

Where do we store our lunches?

There is a storage bin between the snack machines.  Just look for the sign that says “Snacks”. If you are participating in a tidepool program, we recommend you bring bins for your students.

Where do we eat our lunches?

Please eat your lunches in the Ballast View picnic area and pack your trash out with you.

What do I need to bring with me on the field-trip?

Please review the checklist under "Traveling to Cabrillo." Your fee waiver is the most important.  Make copies for each vehicle in your group.  Vehicles without a fee waiver will be charged. Please make sure to also review our Group Expectations with your students and chaperones.
