In 2016, the National Park Service celebrated it's Centennial Anniversary. To help engage and foster the next generation of park visitors, supporters, and advocates, the Park Service has instated the Every Kid in a Park initiative. The immediate goal is to provide an opportunity for each and every 4th grade student across the country to experience their public lands and waters in person throughout the 2017-2018 school year.

Every 4th grader now has access to their very own Every Kid in a Park pass. This pass grants free access to national parks, national forests, national wildlife refuges, and more for the 4th grader and the car they are riding in!

To find out more on how to assist your 4th grader in obtaining their pass, please visit: www.everykidinapark.gov

We realize that it may be difficult for your classroom or students to get to Cabrillo National Monument. If this is the case, please leave us a note in the Contact section and we can schedule a visit to your classroom.
